Today's Recommendation: Renee Restivo Radio Interview

rrestivo.jpegCiao! I thought you might be interested in my recent radio interview about Italian regional food and travel on NPR. I had the honor of being a guest on the Rick Steve's Travel Show on NPR. I spoke about the difference between Northern and Southern Italian food, eating in Italy, markets and more. You can listen to the show online via podcast or by clicking the link at: Soul of Sicily or Renee on Rick Steve's Radio Show.

Has anyone been on one of these Soul of Sicily trips? They sound yummy and educational.

Unfortunately, none of us here at Abbondanza! have been on a tour led by Renee and her associates. I do hope to visit Sicily sometime during my next few visits to Bari. At that time, I will get back with more information.
We do provide a vote of confidence as Renee has an impressive background and involvement with the travel/food and beverage industries. You might also want to check her out either on Youtube or her personal blog, lemonsandoreganos.com.

Is this a full service tour company or cooking vacation? I'm a little confused.
