World Pasta Day: Prepare Great Pasta in the Luxury of Your Own Casa

In recognition of World Pasta Day (October 25th) and National Pasta Month (October), during these last several days of October we will be posting recipes for making at least a dozen unique pasta dishes. We haven’t selected them all yet, so if you’re looking for something special (romantic, economical, quick, special ingredients, etc), just send us an email and we’ll respond with a prompt answer.

Above, we present a slideshow of some of our favorite media and kitchen tools for producing your own healthy pasta and delicious dishes at home.

Don’t get us wrong, we know that sometimes we all have to get out to our favorite restaurants - but wouldn’t that be even more special if you were only to go out to get unique dishes that mere mortals can’t create at home? Wouldn’t you like the pride of saying you made it yourself at home?

Our presented collection ranges from books with recipes and stories, to instructional videos, and finally to some authentic pasta machines and accesories that will literally have you cranking out fresh pasta in no time at all.

Bonus: For the remainder of this week, Chef Valerina Lucca will be available to answer all reader questions about making, preparing and cooking pasta. Also, if you happen to be in the Las Vegas area, Chef Valerina will be producing fresh pasta in her professional kitchen all day Thursday and she is extending an open invite for up to 10 guests to come on down and see how a high production restaurant kitchen maintains quality and consistency when producing pasta.
