[San Jose, CA] San Jose has always been the home to Italian-Americans. What many don’t recognize is that it has a long history of Italian immigrants arriving and making it their lifelong home. And sure, those of you that are well traveled are probably thinking… “Little Italy? In San Jose? - Where?”

Well, that’s part of what tonight’s special gala is all about. The Little Italy San Jose committee is hosting a special evening of authentic Italian cuisine and wines, accompanied by musical entertainment from Pasquale Esposito and an auction to help raise funding for the development of a thriving new Little Italy business district in Downtown San Jose.

We’ve been following these guys for some time now and we really must say that we are damn proud of what it is that they are doing - and more importantly of how they are doing it. Finally, it looks like our years of research and reviews as to what makes an effective and authentic Little Italy worthy of becoming a true tourist destination - may be put to good use!

We’re working on a complete story about the Little Italy San Jose committee, its brave and courageous founders and the dreams that they hope to accomplish. In the meanwhile, we encourage others to help spread the word about what cometh to Downtown San Jose.
