Formula 1 Grand Prix Returns to Montreal Canada

(F1 News Updates) Great news for Canadian racing fans - after being dropped from the F1 calendar back in October of 2008 - the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal is returning to the Formula 1 calendar for 2010. The decision was reached after intervention from the government that helped secure a 5-year deal for Montreal. We imagine this will be received as good news for Lewis Hamilton since the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix was his first Formula 1 victory.

Peter Sauber has convinced BMW to him back his BMW Sauber Formula 1 team! Sauber as most race fans know is the founder of the team - and apparently can’t live without it. I guess that means Mosley’s spending cap to help draw in smaller teams while reducing the dependency on the car manufacturers’ involvement may be indeed be having an impact. Bully old boy - now go and retire already!

Vitantonio Liuzzi and team mate Adrian Sutil are scheduled to stay in the drivers seat for Force India during the 2010 season.
